ACADIA
There are some Parks, that you must see at winter and so at summer. Acadia National Park is what you must see in rain and sunshine. Cant make the difference which one is more beautiful. Acadia is the crown Jewel of North East America. Once you come here, you will fall in love with this place. Of cores I don’t talk about the winter over here, but the beautiful summer. I have visited the Mount Desert Island at least 5-6 times, and I’m sure next year I will return again, and again.
This park is one of the most comfortable parks. Basically all attraction reachable by car and have parking lot. Also very hikeble, since have a lot’s of hiking trails, and some of them are got jaw dropping views.
This is a MUST see park!
One of the first thing I see when I arrive here is the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse. The lighthouse is beautiful and sitting right on the edge of the cliff wall by the Atlantic ocean. I recommend to wait for sun down or sun rise on the boulders. One of the best photo opportunities you can find in the entire park. It has a breathtaking coast, with granite boulders, which is very exciting for me since I love climbing, and jumping on these rocks.
Caddilac Mountain is got the view….
The 1526 foot high mountain gives you the view of the Atkantic wioth the islands. Its just gorgeous. ALso here is the one of the very forst first place to see the the sunrise in the States.
Bar Harbor is a great city, with beautiful streets and view to the Atlantic ocean. one of my favorite feature here is at every low tide a natural bride will be see in the harbor and able to walk over to the island across.
Jordan Pond
this is one of my favorite hike around this beautiful pond. the hike is super easy, and beautiful whatever is it in rain or shine. I did both times and both was such a great experience. When it rains, shines everything, and the dark cloud is perfectly fits in the image of the scenery. When shines, everything so beautiful and at least 4 different kind of green you can see. Acadia National Park is definitely the most beautiful park at the east coast, and in the top then in all national parks hands down.
